Flintridge also used to be two communities, but La Cañada and Flintridge came together in 1976 so as not to be swallowed up by nearby towns.
Like many of the surrounding towns, the style is predominantly craftsman homes. Winding, wooded roads, and single-family homes set back on larger lots give La Cañada Flintridge neighborhoods a rural feel.
